Warehouse Assistant

 

Qualifications:

  • Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Higher Education Level in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner, and deadline-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing SAP ERP system for forklift operations management.
  • Proficiency in languages: Mandarin Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia, and English.

Job Scope:

  1. Enhance Procedures:
    • Ensure adherence to operational procedures for activities like verification of incoming/outgoing shipments, stock handling, and warehouse inventory management.
    • Recommend improvements to procedures and periodically revise reports and processes to identify risks or non-conformity issues.
  2. Manage Inventory:
    • Enforce First-In-First-Out (FIFO) system for inventory management to minimize product expiration and waste.
  3. Mitigate Risks:
    • Implement measures to reduce goods damage, loss, and missing items during handling and storage.
    • Investigate and resolve incidents promptly, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  4. Align Performance:
    • Ensure Warehouse KRA/KPIs align with strategic objectives and achieve measurable outcomes.
    • Support annual budget preparation and manage warehouse inventory through cycle counts and investigation of discrepancies.
    • Identify and address issues affecting sales, warehouse operations, or service delivery.
  5. Team Oversight:
    • Collaborate closely with cross-departmental managers.
  6. Day-to-Day Operations:
    • Supervise team to ensure timely and quality completion of assigned tasks.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
