Technical Support Engineer

Experience requirement:

  • Expertise in troubleshooting networking protocols in WLAN technologies – 802.11, 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax.
  • Minimum 1-year working experience.

Overall Responsibility:

  • Responsible for troubleshooting network problems for the software development team for their released software.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Works directly with customers to resolve hardware, software, licensing issues.
  • Assists customers with reported product failure, taking actions to resolve issues.
  • Investigates and tests customer problems in a lab environment with hardware and software.
  • Stays current on networking technologies and new product offerings.

Skills and attributes:

  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Computer Science.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (to communicate with Chinese customers).
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of different network operating system implementations and installations.
