Requirements:
- ACCA or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience, out of which preferably 3 years in a manufacturing environment, candidates with lesser years of relevant working experience can be considered for more junior role.
- Proficient in SAP FICO is highly desired.
- Good communication skills due to individual contributor role that is remote from Singapore.
Costing Responsibilities:
- Setting up of costing system, analyzing and reporting of purchase price variance (PPV), gross profit margin, and inventory obsolescence as part of month end process.
- Maintenance of a complete record of production cost, cost of sales, raw materials, direct labour and intercompany transactions.
- Identifying areas of improvement for inventory and cost effectiveness management in the production process.
- Other costing related analysis and management per required.
Accounting Responsibilities:
- Establish a systematic work process to prepare for a team formation including but not limited to AR, AP, GL.
- Maintain fixed assets, renovation, construction-in-progress, cash flow budgeting.
- Business partner the production, engineering, and quality assurance teams, and support operations of the factory.
- Any other business as required.
Reporting Responsibilities:
- Monthly management accounts recording, maintenance, and closing process using SAP FICO on a timely basis and according to set Group guidelines.
- Preparation of weekly cash book and cash flow.
- Coordinate with external auditors to produce audited accounts on a timely basis.
- Liaise with bankers, tax agents, suppliers and other external parties.
